Noted Academic Journal American Music Publishes Film Music Issue
American Music, the quarterly journal of the University of Illinois Press, is publishing a special issue devoted exclusively to motion picture music.
Co-edited by Film Music Society Board member Gillian B. Anderson (conductor, musicologist and silent film score historian), Ron Sadoff (Director of NYU's Film Scoring Program) and Tom Riis (Director of University of Colorado at Boulder's American Music Research Center), "Music and Moving Image" offers 200 pages of articles and essays on a wide array of film score-related subjects.
